Tent campers beware: Quiet hours are not until 11, and they basically just shrugged when I told them that one family was making enough noise last night with their radio and then until about 12:20AM talking keeping everyone else in the tent area up. Dildo Run park may be a better fit for tent campers.
Friendly owner. Clean washrooms. Reasonable WiFi. Not a whole lot of washroom facilities but adequate for the time of year (September).
Amazing here. The manger was incredible made sure we got in and settled. Now why i write this because the young lady at the front desk went above an beyond for us, we made the mistake of driving up here (on bikes) with no reservations anywhere (figured we'd get something on the road lol) she took really good care of us. Held a trailer for us well we ate in town (im positive she could have rented it in a sec) but she made sure we would not be driving back to Gander at night. The trailer we rented very clean an comfortable, and they have a chip truck close by :) will be back. Thank you for the short but comfortable stay.
Super close quarters....side by side. But, the view of the ocean was beautiful. Nicely located. An easy walk into town. The washrooms were spotless, but 2 may not be enough if the park was full. No WiFi really to speak of.
I am giving this park a 5 because we LOVED Annie! We arrived at the park and she had booked us tickets for the Dinner Theatre and because we weren't towing a vehicle she drove us to the Theatre and came back and picked us up! She made our trip! She was one of the first people that I can truly say had the Newfoundland hospitality. Plus, I got to pick wild blueberries with her out back. I would go back just to see her! We did not use the other facilities but the view we had was gorgeous site 39. The sunsets were beautiful. I would definitely go back.
