Bobby runs pretty neat two hour tours. The four of us had a wonderful time. He is a great host. His gear is new and well taken care of. It was a highlight of a our trip to Newfoundland.
Sea kayaking with Rock Adventures was definitely a highlight of our Newfoundland road trip! Marie and Bobby are super friendly, warm and welcoming. We were fortunate to have a clear sunny day so the view of the open ocean was breathtaking. I would highly recommend Rock Adventures if you are looking for a fun kayaking experience!
Fabulous afternoon on the water. Have never been in a kayak before and am generally a fair weather sailor. A little chop on the water today, but never felt safer. Friendly, funny, and patient, could ask for no better guide than owner, Bobby Gorman. If you are in Twillingate and can only indulge a couple of 'tourist' activities/events, make sure this is one of them!
Booked same day for a kayak tour in Twillingate and was not disappointed. The price was reasonable and we were made to feel right at home . Our guide let ride with him and we were able to leave our keys and phones in his truck .The water was perfect during our trip and we weren't pushed to go farther than our comfort level. I'm currently struggling with an invisible illness that can cause fainting, seizures, and temporary paralysis so I appreciated the easy going attitude and lack of pressure to go around the island.Just two things I would have liked to have different- my friend and I had never been in a kayak with a rudder so getting a little more info on that would have been awesome before choosing our seats. The other thing is that it would have been nice to know in advance that it would have been okay to ask to jump out and swim. We didn't know until the very end and I never asked due to the extra equipment ("skirts") that we were using .I would still highly recommend this company and Bobbie as your guide. He was informative about the island, funny, and easy going. Just say when if you want to jump!
Awesome tour with my wife on Notre-Dame bay! Bob was the perfect guide, fun facts and laughter on the water :)
